Violence even against the most heinous of prisoners is wrong

April Jones' Killer Mark Bridger
Let's not get too carried away here. Mark Bridger committed an horrific crime and in my view should spend the rest of his days in prison. However, as a prisoner he has the right to safety. What right do other convicted prisoners have to mete out their brand of justice? Anyone who believes that prisoners who beat up or violently injure a child killer, child molester or rapist do so out of any sense of decency or justice is mistaken. Violence in prisons serves one purpose only, power.
